010 Jacqueline Gyamfi

Jacqueline is the first pharmacy student to be interviewed on the podcast so this is an exciting moment for me as well as all our pharmacy students out there tuning in. Jacqueline chose to pursue her career in pharmacy as she wanted to combine her love of science, particularly chemistry, with the desire to help people. She's just completed her first year at Kings College London and is here with us today to share her experience as a student. Outside of pharmacy and studying, she spends a huge proportion of her free time training for her side passion as a track and field athlete.

We talk about what she has enjoyed so far in her first year, what challenges she has faced to date and how she is going to overcome them, as well as creating a good support network and surrounding herself with focused, like-minded individuals that can support her through university life.  We spend most of our time talking about tips for time management and organisation to boost productivity. Her mindset is genuinely inspiring and I love how she applies her drive within track & field to being a great student!
