067 Christina Fontana

On today's episode I am pleased to introduce Christina Fontana to the podcast. Christina is a pharmacist, author, transformation coach, hypnotherapist and podcaster.

From the ages of 18 to 25, she suffered with a rare eating disorder called Night Eating Syndrome. She also experienced debilitating anxiety, low self-esteem, and felt isolated from her family. She made decisions about her career that her family didn't agree with and this led to her being kicked out of her home and was homeless for 2 weeks. Her life was chaotic and unmanageable and she felt like she had hit her rock bottom. These struggles started during her pharmacy degree and heightened at the beginning of her career as a pharmacist and completing her residency.

Christina indicates that traditional medicine never appealed to her and she began studying and experiencing various modalities of healing. She managed to turn her life around and began utilising this experience and all the skills she learned along the way to build the business she has today.

Christina's mission is to uplift, empower, and inspire young women to pursue their entrepreneurial dream. She volunteers to speak with pharmacy schools and also provides two scholarships per year to students at St. John's University to support the development of the next generation of pharmacist entrepreneurs.
